
A. Jaffe is Forever
Aaron Jaffe’s brand tagline simply reads, “Created with Passion since 1982”, and for over 100 years the bridal manufacturer has focused on quality and innovation in all facets of bridal jewelry development.
Aaron Jaffe founded his business (A. Jaffe) in Brooklyn, New York as a local custom jeweler. Since then A. Jaffe has grown to include over 600 different designs in their line and can name distribution partners in several U.S States. Since their founding the company has focused on using high purity platinum in all of their pieces, citing platinum as the, “most precious and most desirable metal for jewelry creation.”
Samuel Sandberg is the man responsible for product development at A. Jaffe. His job is to find new ways to combine diamonds and precious metals in the unique and highly sought after Signature Series (as distinguished by a European shank and signature “a” set with a small diamond.)
Notably, A. Jaffe has some of the industry’s most rigorous screening for “Conflict Diamonds”. They consistently monitor overseas suppliers for adherence to international laws regarding child labor, environmental impact, and employee welfare. Furthermore the company contributes to several non-profit organizations including Jewelers’ Charities for Children and the National Conference for Community and Justice.
On February 8th, A. Jaffe participated in a very special charitable giving campaign. The company donated the wedding bands for the Live with Regis and Kelly Wedding Event to Jordan and Kacy Edsall. The couple had been chosen to be married on the show after a disastrous house explosion in 2007 which seriously injured both bride and groom. Noting the couples triumph over hardship, A. Jaffe released a press release proclaiming that, “These exquisite rings represent the everlasting love shared between the couple.” The bride received a platinum oval diamond eternity band weighing four carats; the groom received the comfort-fit Unity wedding band.
Currently the company is running their, “Passion” campaign which focuses on showing the, “Passion that has led A. Jaffe since 1892”. The ads feature young men and women entangled romantically with a Signature Series ring featured prominently. Without a doubt the trailblazing and historic company has showcased their passion for true love in any form; either through their charitable giving campaigns or the attention and handcrafted precision with which the company has crafted their award winning pieces. Notably, the tagline for the “Passion” campaign reads, “Some jewelry speaks louder than words”.
