This week on ABC's Nashville, the queens of country music added some extra shimmer for their looks trading rhinestones for diamonds-- from Nashville's own Genesis Diamonds, of course!

But it wasn't so simple... When Rayna Jaymes opens up a beautiful diamond necklace that arrived in the mail, she soon realizes that the beautiful diamond jewelry was not intended for her, and the necklace holds a big secret. Maybe diamonds are not always a girl's best friend...

The stunning 20.55 TW (total carat weight diamond strand) necklace was  a gift for her daughter Maddie from Jeff, a music producer, welcoming her to Edgehill Records. But, rather than sending the decadent gift from Genesis Diamonds straight to Maddie, he sends it to Rayna.

Inside the gift reads a note, “Welcome to Edgehill. You’ll be the diamond of our label. -Jeff” That necklace from Genesis sure is a stunner, but Jeff sure is creepy. Rayna knows better than to trust him.

As gorgeous as the Genesis Diamond's strand is, Rayna  is furious with Jeff for going behind her back! She was completely surprised by Jeff and Maddie’s record deal, and the diamonds sent directly to her shoved the secrecy in her face. As a result of all this, Jeff and Rayna get in a HUGE fight and Jeff has Rayna escorted from the building by security!

Maddie is then released from her contract and creepy Jeff is fired from Edgehill records. But luckily, Maddie gets to keep the gorgeous Genisis diamonds, which is all that really matters anyway.

Who knows if these Nashville country stars will continue to receive sweet gifts that spark from Genesis? With two Genesis Diamonds locations in Tennessee, the option is not far out of reach.
