Cupcakes come in all shapes and colors, just like fashion. Due to the fact that they are absolutely cute and fun, and that Carrie Bradshaw already bit into a cupcake while fabulously dreassed long before they became a huge trend, it's really no wonder that more and more brands and fashion lovers make the connection between fashion and cupcakes.
Be Yourself
Clothes and accessories help us express who we are. Just as there are endless styles of cupcakes, so are there infinite personal styles in fashion-from the wild and colorful, to the pretty in pink, to the high-fashion sense of style.
Cupcakes are small and therefore personal, unlike a cake which is usually meant for more than one person. So choosing a cupcake is really just like choosing a clothing item. We think about what suits us best and what will make us feel good. That one specific cupcake is unique, just like that one specific dress that fits you perfectly. Fashionistas love feeling unique, so add a unique cupcake to that perfect outfit and let's call it a perfect day.
Creating
Just as we enjoy choosing the brands and items that represent who we are, so do we enjoy making and buying cupcakes that embody our unique style. Decorating cupcakes is as much an art as assembling an outfit; there is so much creativity that goes into both.

Even some of the biggest fashion brands such as Michael Kors are showcasing their products next to cupcakes. This photo is from the @MichaelKors Twitter page. They are not only selling gorgeous watches, they are selling an atmosphere. And it works.
Proposals
One of the most precious moments is when Mr. Right pops the question. It's hard for the poor guy to be original, and a ring in a soufflé is so passé. Our men need to also keep up with the trends and who could refuse the temptation of a ring and a cupcake?
