Our diamond inventory follows a grading scale of D through M using the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the European Gemological Laboratory grading systems. A grade of “D” is pure white in color, growing slightly darker in shade with each subsequent letter up to “M.”
Clarity
The clarity of a diamond is based on the visibility of internal and external flaws. The fewer blemishes and inclusions, the higher the clarity grade of a diamond. A flawless diamond is free of all inclusions and blemishes under 10x magnification.
Cut
A diamond’s beauty depends heavily on the cut. With the assistance of a highly trained cutter, a diamond can manipulate light very efficiently. It takes a very high level of skill to polish and cut a diamond perfectly for maximum fire and brilliance.
Polish
Polish refers to the overall condition or smoothness of the diamond’s surface and facets.
Symmetry
Symmetry refers to the diamond’s outline, shape, placement and alignment of its facets. Poor symmetry can seriously affect a diamond’s fire and sparkle.
Fluorescence
Fluorescence is the level of reaction a diamond has when exposed to Ultra Violet light.

Carat
Contrary to popular belief, the term carat doesn’t simply refer to the size of a diamond. It refers to the diamond’s weight. Two diamonds with the same carat weight can look completely different from one another.
Depth
Depth refers to the height of a diamond. If the depth is too high or too low, it will lose light and cause the diamond to have less sparkle.
Table
The table refers to the largest facet on the top of a polished diamond.

If you’re looking for the perfect combination of quality and value, VS2 is perfect. Under a 10x magnification, inclusions are rarely ever seen. VS2 grade is a great combination of quality and value.
An SI1 diamond has slight inclusions when viewed under 10x magnification. Inclusions like this are normally unnoticeable to the naked eye.
SI1 clarity is a great choice because there are no visible inclusions to the naked eye and it offers the same beauty and brilliance for
a lower price when compared to diamonds of a higher grade.

A diamond of this color grade is highly prized, as a diamond with less color has never been found. This grade of diamond is absolutely colorless.
An E-color diamond is colorless to the unaided eye.
Only a trained gemologist using special equipment can determine any color difference between a D- and an E-color diamond.
In an F-color diamond, no color is visible to an untrained eye. As the least expensive diamond color in the colorless range, F-color diamonds display minimal color difference from D- or E-color diamonds and offer a lower price.
This diamond is nearly colorless. A diamond with G-color has an extremely faint tint that is only noticeable to a trained gemologist. G-color diamonds make for beautiful jewelry and they offer an outstanding value, since they are less expensive than the colorless grades, but appear to the eye to be colorless when mounted.
