Our diamond inventory follows a grading scale of D through M using the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the European Gemological Laboratory grading systems. A grade of “D” is pure white in color, growing slightly darker in shade with each subsequent letter up to “M.”
Clarity
The clarity of a diamond is based on the visibility of internal and external flaws. The fewer blemishes and inclusions, the higher the clarity grade of a diamond. A flawless diamond is free of all inclusions and blemishes under 10x magnification.
Cut
A diamond’s beauty depends heavily on the cut. With the assistance of a highly trained cutter, a diamond can manipulate light very efficiently. It takes a very high level of skill to polish and cut a diamond perfectly for maximum fire and brilliance.
Polish
Polish refers to the overall condition or smoothness of the diamond’s surface and facets.
Symmetry
Symmetry refers to the diamond’s outline, shape, placement and alignment of its facets. Poor symmetry can seriously affect a diamond’s fire and sparkle.
Fluorescence
Fluorescence is the level of reaction a diamond has when exposed to Ultra Violet light.
Photo
Photos of the actual diamond have been provided by some of our diamond dealers and cutters. We’ve provided a simple way for you to sort through them. When you click the “Only show results which contain diamond photographs” all of the search results will appear with a red camera icon.
Carat
Contrary to popular belief, the term carat doesn’t simply refer to the size of a diamond. It refers to the diamond’s weight. Two diamonds with the same carat weight can look completely different from one another.
Depth
Depth refers to the height of a diamond. If the depth is too high or too low, it will lose light and cause the diamond to have less sparkle.
Table
The table refers to the largest facet on the top of a polished diamond.

*EGL USA is known to be more lenient in their diamond grading. It is not uncommon to see a difference of 1-2
color grades and 1-2 clarity grades when comparing to GIA standards. Diamonds with particular grades
certified by EGL USA are generally priced lower than diamonds with the same grade certified by GIA.

A diamond of this color grade is highly prized, as a diamond with less color has never been found. This grade of diamond is absolutely colorless.
An E-color diamond is colorless to the unaided eye.
Only a trained gemologist using special equipment can determine any color difference between a D- and an E-color diamond.
In an F-color diamond, no color is visible to an untrained eye. As the least expensive diamond color in the colorless range, F-color diamonds display minimal color difference from D- or E-color diamonds and offer a lower price.
This diamond is nearly colorless. A diamond with G-color has an extremely faint tint that is only noticeable to a trained gemologist. G-color diamonds make for beautiful jewelry and they offer an outstanding value, since they are less expensive than the colorless grades, but appear to the eye to be colorless when mounted.
This diamond offers an exceptional balance of color and cost in the near-colorless range. If you choose an H-color grade diamond, you can buy a larger diamond for the same price as a higher color grade. The very slight tint is generally not noticeable.
This diamond produces a warm brilliancy not found in the higher grade colors. I-color diamonds are less expensive than other diamonds, so you can buy a larger diamond for the same price as a higher color grade. Note: If this diamond has medium or strong blue fluorescence, its slight tint will be partially masked, making the diamond appear whiter to the eye.

About Moissanite®
Possessing fire, brilliance, and lust that far surpasses even that of a diamond,
Moissanite twinkles and sparkles unlike any gemstone on earth. Composed of carbon'sand silicon, the Moissanite crystal is one of the hardest and toughest
known elements on earth, making it extremely resistant to scratching, chipping
and breaking.
Moissanite, also known as silicon carbide, was first discovered in minute
quantities from particles carried to earth by a meteorite 50,000 years ago. It is
now available as faceted gemstones in a large array of shapes and sizes.
Unlike other brilliant stones that cloud and dull with time, Moissanite is
guaranteed to never lose its optical properties. Therefore, it will be every bit as
beautiful, fiery and brilliant generations from now as the day you purchased it.
